am-biv-a-lence, noun 1. having two opposing feelings at the same time, or being uncertain about how you feel. 2. simultaneous and contradictory attitudes or feelings toward an object, person, or action.

naging AMBIVALENT ako kanina dahil bigla akong tinawag ng kalikasan habang may kausap na customer sa exhibition. conflicted ako kasi hindi ko alam kung mananatili akong nakikipag usap o tatakbo papunta sa banyo. in the end, tiniis ko na huwag matae kaya lang, halos nagkanda sakang ako sa pagkakatayo ko. natapilok pa ako sa pagmamadali. buti na lang hindi tumulo.

ang word power na ito ay ay hatid sa inyo ng “RUBY BLADE POMADE – ang pomada ng mga nag-aahit”.

  2. well, “strong” is relative.

    i love the word though. there used to be a local band during the 70’s called “The Ambivalent Crowd”. great name, i thought when i first heard it even if i didn’t know then what ambivalent meant.

  3. ohh sorry i wasn’t reading..:P just read ur entries now..hehehe..my cousin kasi was part of that group, “the ambivalent crowd”. They used to do their rehearsals at home with ryan cayabyab as the pianist. i was hoping u were one of them hahah.
