SOMETIMES A PIECE OF SUN BURNED LIKE A COIN BETWEEN MY HANDS

TAKIPSILIM SA ANTIPOLO sa isang linggo kong pananatili sa pilipinas, isang beses lang akong nakauwi ng maaga. parati na lang madaling araw dahil sa maraming mga meeting at pakikipagkita sa mga kaibigan. the one time na nakarating ako sa bahay ng may araw pa – kinuhanan ko ang litratong ito. this is how our home looks like during dusk, my peborit part of the day. kaya lang nga ay this time, wala nang yosi at kape na kasama ko sa pag appreciate ng sunset. in my old life, pag ganitong oras, i’d be outside our house. nakaupo sa garden at naninigarillo habang hinihintay ang pagkagat ng dilim. bwakanginangyan, para tuloy gusto kong magsindi ng yosi. huwag na oy – nakaka one hundred thirty one days ka nang walang sigarillo.

  1. thank you bossing. these days, my smoking urges aren’t that strong anymore. well, not as strong as the first month i quit. which is just as well. i never want to return to smoking again. i want to live longer so i will have the time someday to read all the books that we’ve been buying. not to mention the DVD’s and CD’s that need to be watched and listened to.

  2. Congratulations on your smoke-free-life… well nearly smoke free, you still have the smog etc etc.

Isipin mo na lang ang laki ng natitipid mo on a daily basis not to mention in a year’s time e mas mumura na ang Insurance Premiums mo! Bili ka sa kin ha? hehehe

  3. hi auee.

thank you. it’s been over 130 days. sana tuloy tuloy na ito. i’ve known people who stopped for years but suddenly smoked again for no reason. malaki na ang na save ko for not smoking – that’s around $9 a day per pack. do the math, sa isang buwan ay around $270. that’s over PHP 8,500.00

    ano bang insurance mo?
