sabado ako tumakbo para sa week 12 ng preparation ko sa rock and roll marathon. scaled back din – 11.26 miles lang. maglalaro kasi ako ng golf bukas at ayokong mapagod dahil maglalakad ako ng may bitbit sa likod na golf bag na puno ng clubs. for the first time, tumakbo ako sa north lake. 4 miles away lang ito sa amin. i’m glad that i did. it’s a great place to run. maraming mga tao at visually appealing sa mata.
hmm… “visually appealing sa mata”. parang redundant ata dahil alangan naman visually appealing sa ilong.

12 miles ang tatakbuhin ng grupo ko this Saturday. This will be our last run with hills. Our first “hill run” was 2 wks ago. Anyway, buti ka pa at nakakapag-golf. I took it up a while back, even took classes. Pero nung magsimulang magtrabaho, I can’t even make a straight shot… panay hooks and slices…. kainis…
good luck sa 12 miles. milestone yan pag nakumpleto mo. kailangan mo na lang ng 1 mile at half marathon distance na siya.
i did 8 miles yesterday. tinakbo ko from bahay to office. uphill all the way sa bake parkway.
Oo nga, 1 mile na lang at half marathon na sya. Sa March 29 namin gagawin ‘yon. Pero I’ll be in the bay area that day. So, I have to run it by myself that day. Sabi sa ‘kin ng bro-in-law ko, “Takbuhin mo from bahay hanggang Ryowa (this is our favorite Ramen place sa Mountain View), then kain tayo ng lunch do’n.” Sabi ko naman, “O sige, pero pasensya ka na at baka mangamoy araw ako pagdating ko.” “Di bale, magdadala ako ng Febreeze,” he quipped. Loko-loko!
Okay ang uphill workout. Surprisingly, I look forward to slight inclines compared sa pababa.
