I’M YOUR ICE CREAM MAN, STOP ME WHEN I’M PASSIN’ BY, SEE NOW ALL MY FLAVORS ARE GUARANTEED TO SATISFY

  1. sabi ng mama ko, dirty daw yung ice cream dahil when the mamang sorbetero sneezes, every single germ goes to the ice-cream. yeeech! all this talk reminds me of her reason why she doesn’t buy bread at a certain bakery near my childhood home: she found an armpit hair in a pandesal her friend bought from the store. ewww! she has convinced us that all the bread in the store is dirrty. yeech!

  2. hi gail. musta ka na?

don’t read this if you don’t want to be grossed out. sigurado ka bang armpit hair yon? nabasa mo yung previous entry ko about pinoy men not washing their hands. alam mo siguro by now that armpit hair is a bit curly – it is very similar, (ahem) in appearance, color and length to… (ahem)the armpit hair on the other kilikili of course. hehe.

  3. i’m not easily grossed out, thank God. i’m fine with discussions of gross things as long as i can’t smell it (such as poop, vomit, utot, decomposing bodies…)

omigosh, it crossed my mind too, kuya batjay. kaya grabe talaga no, i never set foot inside that bread store. the hair could have come from anywhere including never-neverland. yeech!

  7. panakot lang naman yong kulangot story ng mommy ko. i’m sure it’s not true. it’s probably in the same vein as the “asado siopao is made of cat meat” story. altough from time to time, sinisilip ko ang dulo ng aking dirty ice cream cone. you never know (baka may free) – hehehe.

FOREST GUMP: “life is like a dirty ice cream cone, you’ll never know what’s inside until you taste it”

    Uhm tsalap.

Kapitbahay namin noon may dirty ice cream “factory”.

Tell me i’m wrong with what I’m thinking…please!!!!

  12. uhm… it’s probably the cheese (huwag sanang kesong puti). but then again (to few to mention) – it might be the salt coming from the sorbetero’s sweaty hands. or… it may be the dreaded kulangot at the end of the ice cream cone. who knows for sure. mahirap talagang isipin ang mga misteryo ng buhay – basta kain na lang tayo ng kain.

  13. mayroong dirty ice cream dito sa singapore. pero iba ang hitsura ng kariton. you can find them all over the island. there are a few along the shopping district of orchard road very near lucky plaza (ang tambayan ng mga pinoy). you can choose ice cream cone or ice cream tinapay sandwich.

and take note: they don’t have toyo and lumpiang shanghai wrapper here.. uh-uh!

  15. pagkatapos ko mag-year 11 uuwi na daw me sa pinas eh.. panget daw education dito eh.. mas maganda daw sa pinas.. hehe.. maganda ba education dyan sa singapore?!
